Metal Pipe Rubber Lining Carbonization System

Product Description

1. Product Overview

This cycle-operated cart-type furnace is specifically designed for degreasing metal cylinders and pipes of different diameters, as well as carbonization burning of rubber insulation and lining inside cylinders and pipes. The chamber working dimensions are 6000×2000×2000mm. It features all-fiber lining, five-surface resistance heating, 12 centrifugal circulating fans on top for forced convection, and self-propelled cart for loading/unloading. Typical applications include waste cylinder and pipe recycling, metal parts surface degreasing and carbonization cleaning production lines.

2. Industry Challenges & Root Cause Analysis

Insufficient furnace temperature uniformity:Large-length cylinders and pipes with dense stacking make it difficult for hot air to penetrate – incomplete degreasing and carbonization. Root cause: lack of effective forced convection and air guiding structures.

Poor lining insulation and high energy consumption:Traditional refractory brick linings have high heat storage and slow heating – long empty furnace heating time. Root cause: high density and thermal conductivity of lining materials.

Unreliable cart entry/exit and door sealing:Cart positioning deviation prevents proper door closing – high-temperature furnace gas leakage. Root cause: lack of electrical interlocks and automatic compression sealing mechanisms.

Heating elements susceptible to oxide scale erosion:Oxide scale falling after workpiece heating accumulates on heating elements – causing short circuits or localized overheating. Root cause: lack of protective plates at furnace bottom and irrational heating element layout.

Process data cannot be traced:Degreasing and carbonization temperature curves cannot be automatically recorded – difficult quality traceability. Root cause: control system lacks data storage and export functions.

3. Solution

3.1 Five-Surface Heating & Forced Hot Air Circulation:Heating elements made of Shougang 0Cr25Al5 high-resistance alloy resistance strips – processed into wave structure with dedicated molds – arranged on both sides of furnace, furnace door, rear wall, and furnace bottom (five surfaces). Four 7.5kW centrifugal circulating fans installed along furnace top length (12 units total) – fan blades and shaft made of 304 stainless steel – motor rotor and fan shaft integrated design – stable speed, low noise, strong airflow. Hot air directed from both sides to cart, then circulates back to furnace top from bottom – repeated circulation and stirring ensures furnace temperature uniformity ≤±5℃ (late soaking stage).

3.2 All-Fiber Lining Energy-Saving Structure:Lining made of standard aluminosilicate refractory fiber blankets – specially processed and assembled into large plates – density 230kg/m³ – total thickness 240mm – anchored to furnace steel structure with SUS304 stainless steel round bar anchors. All-fiber lining weighs only 1/30 of refractory brick furnace – excellent insulation performance – saves approximately 30% more energy than brick-based resistance furnaces of same specifications – faster heating rate. All-fiber structure has good thermal shock resistance, resistant to rapid heating/cooling – longer service life than brick lining.

3.3 Cart & Furnace Door Sealing System:Furnace door with steel frame structure + refractory fiber insulation – 2T electric hoist lifting (8m/min) – cam mechanism automatic clamping + soft-edge sealing device – ensures door automatically seals against furnace body. Cart with channel steel frame (10mm side plates + 5mm bottom plates, Q235 welded) – 45# cast steel wheels – 4kW reducer drive – entry/exit speed 6-8m/min – self-propelled synchronous motor and reducer mounted on main beam – power transmitted to axles via gears. Cart rear equipped with RT0 moving and stationary contacts for power supply – large contact surface, good contact, no electric sparks or overheating after long-term use.

3.4 Furnace Bottom Protection & Heating Element Protection:Furnace bottom plate made of CrMnN cast steel – total thickness 30mm – rests above heating element placement groove – prevents oxide scale from falling onto heating elements after workpiece heating. Furnace bottom plate with snap-fit design prevents movement – both safe and economical. Cart bottom insulation layer with two layers of alternating diatomaceous earth bricks and lightweight straight bricks – refractory layer with heavy bricks – irregular shaped bricks around cart prevent furnace gas from directly contacting cart side plates.

3.5 Multiple Safety Interlocks:Furnace door with upper and lower travel double safety limit mechanisms and interlocking device with cart. Cart entry/exit with double safety limit mechanisms. Heating automatically cut off when door opens. Circuit interlock ensures cart cannot enter or exit when door is closed. Limit switches from Omron brand. When cart does not reach correct position, furnace door cannot open or close, and entire furnace body cannot be powered – ensuring safe operation.

3.6 Intelligent Temperature Control & Data Management:10-inch Kunlun Tongtai touchscreen + Japanese Shimaden SRS13A intelligent temperature control module – control accuracy ≤±1℃ – with self-tuning and adaptive functions – simultaneously displays set and measured values. Can be programmed and controlled per workpiece process requirements – automatically adjusts furnace heating power. Power control with high-power voltage regulation system + automatic air switch + fast fuse secondary protection. Over-temperature, thermocouple breakage, over-current, short-circuit protection functions. Touchscreen software supports real-time display, manual operation, curve query, alarm recording, parameter setting – all parameter data and historical data can be exported.
