WUXI WONDERY INDUSTRY EQUIPMENT CO., LTD. presents the WDL-SY-1000T Upward Continuous Casting Machine, a complete production line specifically designed for manufacturing high-conductivity oxygen-free copper rods, widely used in the electrical and copper processing industries. The system consists of a dual-chamber cored induction furnace, a two-head continuous casting machine, a servo drive system, a dual-reel take-up unit, and an integrated electrical control system. With a daily output of approximately 3 tons and an annual capacity of 1,000 tons, the unit is suitable for producing copper rods in the range of φ8–16 mm, and can also be adapted for copper tubes and other profile products by changing the clamping wheel dies.

The melting furnace and holding furnace are designed as a dual-chamber cored induction furnace with a total power of 90 kW. The melting furnace has a melting rate exceeding 150 kg/h. The furnace body is constructed using refractory materials and rammed quartz sand, while the induction coil is wound from hollow rectangular copper tubing. The silicon steel core is made of imported Z10 material from Japan, ensuring high electromagnetic conversion efficiency. The melting furnace features nine voltage adjustment levels, allowing precise temperature control to maintain copper liquid purity and fluidity.

 

The continuous casting machine is driven by a YASKAWA servo motor from Japan, combined with an imported high-precision backlash-free gearbox and synchronous belt drive. The pitch speed can be conveniently set via the touchscreen, with control response accuracy reaching 0.01 seconds. A liquid level tracking system monitors the molten copper level in real time and automatically adjusts the caster height to ensure stable casting conditions. The take-up system is powered by Siemens motors and controlled by Schneider frequency converters, achieving synchronized take-up speed with the casting speed. Each take-up unit can handle more than 3 tons of copper rod and is equipped with automatic cable arranging functionality.
